PRE-ORDERING

I’ve proudly partnered with Schacht Spindle Co. to bring you beautifully crafted spinning wheels, looms and accessories. As a small business it’s not always practical to keep a complete inventory in stock so I offer a pre-order policy and guarantee. So, whether you’re purchasing using the pre-order button on our product listings or via our free quote and invoice service you’ll have peace of mind, from pre-order through to post sales service.

Communication

I'll answer all your order queries in a timely manner and upon ordering we’ll provide you with regular updates as your order progresses. Email is my preferred method of communication but I can also be contacted on 0400388212 if required. As I have little ones at home I appreciate a text prior in case they are napping. 

Transparent Pricing

The prices displayed on this website or provided by quote are the final cost with no hidden fees, charges, or taxes.

Australian Dispatch 

Small pre-ordered goods will ship directly from me here in Australia to you. Large items such as spinning wheels and looms will generally be shipped directly to you by Schacht Spindle Company who will use a carrier of their choice. You can opt to have your new products shipped to me, for you to pick up from the studio, instead. If you choose to pick up your items from the studio you can ask me to assemble your new tool at no additional charge. 

Quotes

I provide a free quote for any Schacht product. Please get in touch if you have a specific setup requirement for your new wheel or loom, or would just like to deal with us directly to process your order.

Consumer protection 

I support and work within the standard consumer guarantees and rights provided under the Australian Consumer Law. Learn more about these protections at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission website - www.accc.gov.au

 Policies 

General

  • All policies listed here are to be read in conjunction with our general shop policies and shipping information.

  • Pre-order prices displayed on this website or independently quoted are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of any applicable sales tax or import fees and duties incurred when items enter into Australia.

  • Once payment has been made, either via our website or invoice, the order is deemed to be accepted and refunds, returns or exchanges are not available after this point for a change of mind.

  • At times, market conditions such as high international exchange rates or the cost and risk associated with freight, can make it difficult for us to supply a product. In these instances, I reserve the right to refuse the supply of products if it’s not in my best interest to do so.

General

  • Pre-orders from Schacht Spindle Co will generally take between 4-8 weeks for delivery from the date the order is accepted. 

  • Delivery timeframes are an approximation made to the best of my ability given the information provided to me by Schacht Spindle Co and international freight providers. Orders placed over holiday periods may have a longer turnaround time.

  • When possible, I will provide an approximate delivery timeframe on individual product pages.

  • Goods shipped from myself or Schacht Spindle Co will be sent using a carrier chosen at mine or my partners discretion.

  • Pre-ordered goods of low value may be scheduled for delivery with other imports so delays may apply. 

REPAIRS, REPLACEMENTS AND REFUNDS

  • In a circumstance where a repair, replacement or refund is required or there is necessity for compensation for damages and loss, your case will be reviewed, and a resolution provided within the framework of consumer rights and guarantees provided under the Australian Consumer Law.

  • Compensation is not available for the loss of packages deemed ‘delivered’ by my shipping carriers. These losses may include but are not limited to packages left when an ‘authority to leave’ is in place or an incorrect delivery address has been provided.

  • Refunds will not be given for reasonable delays caused by manufacturing or international shipping. If we foresee a delay or circumstances change, we’ll notify you at the earliest possible time.

FREE QUOTE AND INVOICE SERVICE

  • Quotes can be requested at any time via email. Quotes will be issued in Australian dollars and are valid for two (2) weeks from the date of issue.

  • Upon acceptance of a quote an invoice will be issued via email.

  • Invoices will have a due date of seven (7) days from the date of issue and are required to be paid in full for the order to be deemed accepted and for the order to proceed.

  • Payments are accepted via credit card, after pay or PayPal

  • Once the invoice has been paid the order is deemed to be accepted and refunds, returns or exchanges will not be available after this point for a change of mind.

POLICY CHANGES 

  • I reserve the right to update or change our policies as required. These updates or changes will be posted here prior to their implementation. For this reason I encourage you to review this page prior to placing an order.
